This is my completed block. I think it came out okay, but now am wondering if I should of used a different "Pink". It's too blah for me, but I guess I can't do anything about it now.
I joined a No Sew Swap from Kathleen's blog, and this is going to be my block:
The name is Tulip Lady Fingers it's the Pink/Green/White group #4, I will sew my block today and post a picture to give you all an idea of what it will look like. :-)
Well, last night I posted my blog woes! Well, today I'm able to start making my blog look pretty! Thank you Nici, for your help, and sending me the great link. I still need to play around a little more with it, but I think I'm going to like it!!
Off to make some Coffee, and TRY and finish my laundry that I started yesterday! Hope you all have a great day!
Okay, so I started this blog, and now I don't know what to do! LOL
I need to find a help book on blogging. I can't seem to make it pretty like you all do! I wanna be able to link your stuff back to my page?! How in the heck is that done? I haven't done much sewing, because of an incident with a customer last week. And now things are going to pretty much be on hold until after my move. We are moving to Florida. I will have to get packing, and that's not going to be fun at all. I guess I'll keep reading up on making my blog more "pretty" looking! ;-)
My final cake for my Wilton Cake Class. I took this class in December, and had a blast, it's working with Fondant. I took it because a friend wants me to help him bake a cake for a friend of his' wedding in February. I loved the way my final cake turned out, and can't wait to see how the wedding cake will turn out.
My Goodness have I slacked off on my blog. It's time to get cracking and updating you all with everything that is going on. Let me get some more coffee and send hubby off to work. This week he has to work from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thats a bummer, b/c it leaves him little time to spend with us, but hopefully I can get some stuff done around the house too! I'll be back in a little bit with picture's and stories.
I used to be a stay At Home Mom to 3 beautiful kids. Robert is my oldest at 9 years old, then Lahna, who is 4 and then Lilah she is 2. I have been sewing since I was about 11 years old, and really love it. I share my passion with my mom, who thankfully has shown me a few tricks here and there. I have been married for 13 years now, and love that my husband supports all my "hobbies". :-) Now it's been 16 years that we've been married, and I am currently working for in the Seafood Industry.
