Well, I've been down for about a week due to severe flu bug that bit our family and my children decided to share their germs with mommy. I have been without a voice for 3 days now, and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing! LOL. I subscribe to a newsletter called, Konstantin Quilted Paradise, and they had a quilting discussion and someone posted a link on Tube Quilting. I looked at it, and thought it was amazing. It looked super easy, and fun. So today I tried it! I like it, I like the way the instructions were given, I like how easy it was to put together, but... there is always a but, I think my fabrics are WAY TO BUSY! LOL. My husband likes it, and he said that it looks nice in a busy way! Whatever that means! Anyhow... here are some pictures of it, it's not quilted or bound yet, hopefully I'll do that tomorrow. But for now, hope you enjoy. Oh, and I'll post the link for the Tube Quilting as well. Just in case you wanna try it out! ;-)

Another quilt I started was a Mystery Quilt from one of my yahoo groups. We had a weekend to do it, but I was not able to participate that weekend, so I just made the top after the fact. I will send this one out to get professionally quilted. I can't wait to send it off to Kathleen. I just need to get batting and backing for it.
This and That
Well, I finally finished my bears quilt! I was so excited to get it done. It was supposed to be something done in one weekend, but it turned out to take me 3 weeks. But my friend Ryan received the quilt yesterday, and he said it was beautiful. He will deliver it to his dad today. Hopefully his dad thinks the same. Here is a picture of the Chicago Bears Quilt.

Mom's Birthday!
I baked mom a cake and made her a Schlep Bag. I got it from a free pattern from http://sentimentalstitches.net/free-stuff/schlep-bag/. I made it in black and white fabrics, as those are the colors my mom likes the most. Above is a picture of the bag I made her. The next picture is of the inside lining. I got all these fabrics at Joann's.
Hi, I've just started a blog! I have been thinking about it for a while now, but just was lazy I guess! But I'm here now, and can't wait to show you all I'm capable of doing!
I love to Bake, Embroider, Quilt, and Sew. I also like to do other crafty type things, mainly making cards and invitations. I'll share pictures along the way of things that I've created, and hope that in some will will inspire you to finish any projects you may have in progress.
